Kosovo secures €25.8 million in funding from the International Monetary Fund
Kosovo secured a staff-level agreement with the IMF for €25.8 million (€16.34m SBA, €9.48m RSF) after meeting all reform targets. Final approval is expected in May.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released a press statement announcing a staff-level agreement with Kosovo on the Fourth and final Reviews under the Stand-By Arrangement (SBA) and Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF) arrangements, which secures Kosovo 25.82 million euros in financial support. The agreement however, is subject to approval, with the IMF Executive Board expected to make their consideration in May.
The statement praised Kosovo’s IMF program performance, announcing that the authorities have met all quantitative performance criteria indicative targets (ITs) and structural benchmarks for the Reviews while also stating that Kosovo’s economic performance had remained strong with robust GPD growth and disinflation.
